Values That Fit!

Goals and values represent foundational elements for your success. Here is the question you should be asking yourself, “Do my values fit within the framework of the path necessary to achieve my goals?”

Framework01

Non-profits or for-profits, social work or investment banking, traditional construction or building green, harvesting trees or growing them, many people could make arguments for either side. What are your values? Do they align with your path for success?

Success and abundance are not always measured through money. Many experts believe that your passion is the foundation for your success. Values that don’t align or fit within the framework of your goals will cause confusion. Confusion causes hesitation, and hesitation may create fear. Fear is one of the roadblocks in the way of your success.

What are your values? Do they fit within the framework of your current path?

Please define Values and then define Goals.

Why are Goals seemingly so important in the "West?"

    1. Value(s) could be environmental, spiritual, family oriented. So you may want to work for a "green" organization, or perhaps an organization that sells spiritual supplies (religious perhaps), or perhaps Disney World. (Additionally there are many other types of values, not necessarily work or employment related.)

Goal(s) would represent the end result or next level of the gap between where you are now, and where you would like to be. Typically short-term (less than 3 yrs). Examples: Could range from annual salary goals, to achieving significant funding for a charity or research, to having a child and creating a family.

Perhaps not everyone is goal oriented, but most people I believe have some type of goal. Surviving the day for some, raising a family for others, and still others may strive for financial freedom. Success is individually defined, it is not necessarily the same for everyone. What are your thoughts about "goals" and "western" culture?

I wonder if trees have goals? Some trees live well and are hundreds of years old.

We should live as a tree does.

    3. I think their goal is to grow big and multiply!
